Note that you only need the favor of one of the Gods in order to continue the main story, but feel free to do all four of those quests if you want. "There is life in death, and death in life." "Survival begins with strength from within." Once you've gotten through to a god, they'll give you a quest which you can complete in order to gain their favor. If you recite the wrong words, the god will end the interaction abruptly and summon monsters to attack you. You can figure these out by reading the books in the bookshelves on the left and top wall of this room, or from the lore you've already encountered throughout the game - or just consult the table below. The first time you pray to each god, you must correctly recite their ritual words. You can interact with each of them to speak to the god whose symbol is closest to it. This activates four pulpits surrounding the circle. Pick up the Luminescent Adra Shard from the altar on the right, and place it into the pillar inside the big circle in the middle of the room. The gods are willing to offer great power in exchange for a promise to deal with the stolen souls in the manner of their choosing. To reach him, they will have to descend through the pit in the Burial Isle. The delemgan of Elms' Reach, told the Watcher that Thaos has destroyed the route from Teir Evron to Breith Eaman. Wait what do you want? Do you want Calisca portrait to change when you were with her in the beginning and died or you want to use her portrait in your custom character? Because you can use her portrait for custom characters that you made BUT I think her portrait when she is with you as a companion is maybe coded already that's why you can't change it (because you know plot characters like heodan they die). But of course you can just use your custom Calisca portrait for your custom characters and pretend it's her for the whole journey.Cp_qst_earn_gods_favor Council of Stars is a main quest in the third act of Pillars of Eternity. You're saying I should put the custom portraits, named portrait_calisca_lg/sm, in the portraits/player/female folder? I will try that!Įdit: I've just tried putting my custom calisca portraits (that I named 'portrait_calisca_lg' and 'portrait_calisca_sm') in the portraits/player/female folder, and it has had no effect, Calisca still has her normal default in game. She's driving me crazy!Īny help would be massively appreciated, thank you for reading! What is confusing me, is that if I completely move the portraits\companion folder to somewhere else entirely (let's say the desktop), her default portrait is still appearing in the game. Then repeating that process for a small picture, 76 x 96 px, and saving it as portrait_calisca_sm.pngĪm I doing something wrong? Or is Calisca somehow an exception and her portrait can't be changed?

Saving it to E:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Pillars of Eternity\PillarsOfEternity_Data\data\art\gui\portraits\companion as portrait_calisca_lg.png But just to be clear, this is exactly what I'm doing.

I'm pretty sure I'm doing the correct thing, as I've custom portraits working for my player. Infact, I'm not sure if it's every companion, or just Calisca, because for the life of me I cannot get her portrait to change. Ok - basically I'm having an issue with custom portraits for companions showing up in-game. Hi there! Firstly, this is my first post on this forum, so howdy!
